Canyon's a Nocturne who thinks he's a Guardian. His charge is LadyAnne and the lair -- not its physical location, but the lair-as-concept. He's fairly small even for a noc, but he's a fierce coli fighter and a dedicated watchdragon.
When there are hatchlings, Canyon sleeps curled up with them in the nursery; otherwise, he sleeps at the entrance to the lair, and if you're trying to sneak in and cause trouble, you'll find a startlingly determined Nocturne attempting to hold you down and sit on your head. He generally does actually manage to detain you long enough for LadyAnne to show up, and then you have more problems than a pink and black batdragon to deal with. ^_^
