Having the Clan's finest fighter and most ferocious quartermaster as one's parents could easily produce a terror of a child, but whelps in Clan Qaftsiel have more than just their birthparents to support, mentor, supervise, and sometimes reprimand them. Tizona's time as a whelp was full of faerie tales and stories of brave defenders and rescuers' daring exploits, and her time as a young adult quickly saw her awe of those stories turned to delight when she discovered that valorous knights, gleaming armor, shining blades, and high adventure were all real things a dragon could both have and pursue.

Now Clan Qaftsiel's diligent smith's apprentice and a proud student under her father, Tizona is on a personal quest to perfect her armorsmithing, her abilities in diplomacy and negotiations, and skills in combat. Clan Qaftsiel doesn't have a queen or even royalty, but the way she sees it, there's always room for a proper knight in a lair.
