"Adelinde" is a name that signifies nobility among ridgebacks, although some may question her actions to be far from noble. She is the head of a criminal syndicate: DornHerzen, or the ThornHearts. Most dragons are too fearful of the organization to even mention their nefarious deeds, let alone the name of the gang.
Adelinde herself is very rational and a quick thinker: it's no surprise that she managed to secure the position she has today. She also happens to be naturally sarcastic and enjoys keeping live fish nearby to chew on and further intimidate her colleagues. All sorts of grotesque rumors spread about how she actually earned her place. Did she murder the previous leader? Did she start the gang up on her own before it grew popular, potentially using fraud treasure?
Everyone tries to keep silent, though. A passing ridgeback could happen to be one of her hitmen.
