Sombre is a quiet, distant mercenary. She travels across Sornieth, taking on odd-jobs whenever she can. Her loyalty can be easily bought, and her allegiances lie with whoever is willing to shell out the most treasure or gems. Personality Harsh and blunt, Sombre keeps an emotional distance from those around her. She does not get along well with the other sapient beings of Sornieth. Though she does appear to tolerate the company of Beastclans, Maren especially. In the rare occurrence that Sombre's chilly demeanor doesn't drive someone away, she will prefer to sit in silence with them or watch them work. She can frequently be found lounging on cliffs or rocks near the sea.

"Pay up or Shut up." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━❖━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Biography Due to Sombre's closed-off nature, not much is known about her past beyond being hatched somewhere in the Plaguebringer's domain and later being adopted by a wind clan. Sombre met Kaia, her Maren charge, during a trip to the seas. Kaia had managed to become stranded in a tidepool too far from the ocean to safely make the journey back. Their relationship did not start smoothly; with Kaia expecting the massive Guardian to eat her, and giving Sombre a few new scars with her spear before Sombre was even able to speak. After parting Kaia from her spear, Sombre swiftly carried the tiny Maren back to the sea. The two have grown close since then, with Sombre setting up a den in a nearby seaside cave.
