Biography
|
Undae | she/her/hers | Clan Leader / 1st Council Member / "Bloodhorn" Undae is the founder and head Council Member of Clan Pleiades. As 1st Council Member, she is in charge of discipline and clan relations. During times of war she and Seren take charge of the clan. Undae's voice carries the most weight within the council and although she cannot overrule the council's decisions directly, her opinions often sway their thoughts. Undae is stoic to a fault and rarely laughs. She carries a strong code of honor to uphold in life and in battle. She is also a competent astronomer. Although the head of a magic research clan, Undae does not use magic herself. At least, not to the rest of the clan's knowledge. |
Undae's past is hazy and mysterious, even to herself. All that she knows is that she grew up in the Scarred Wasteland and something, or someone, interfered with her Search. Her Ward was either lost or destroyed, she cannot say for sure. To this day, she is ashamed of her lack of a ward but refuses to discuss it further with anyone, even Styrka.
Undae is something of an urban legend in the Wasteland. Before founding Pleiades, once in the Plaguelands she was ambushed by a pack of mirrors who were protecting their territory. She singlehandedly slaughtered them all. Thus the legend of 'Bloodhorn" was born, a rogue dragon with unnatural magic, doomed to wander the Wasteland for eternity, killing whoever comes across their path. Their face is said to be perpetually covered in blood, tendrils of flesh hanging off their horns.
The legend of Bloodhorn is actually rarely attributed to Undae, although there are some in Plague territory that recognize her, and remember what she had done.
Undae is currently located in the Sea of a Thousand Currents, embarking on a soul searching journey in the ancestral home of guardians as a guardian without a ward. She sought the words of the Tidelord and, for a while, it seemed she was at peace with herself. Now, with his silence, Undae grows more restless, and more angry, than ever.
