Grimora
The Founder & Matriarch
Grimora spent her formative years living on her own, only visiting clans, and meeting strangers who told her about their travels and adventures. From them, she learned to be self-sufficient and became fascinated with stories and observations. On her own travels, she met a little Wildclaw. He was far too young to be on his own and he had a wounded eye. She took him in, but the nomadic life was no life for raising a family. She headed inland, toward the Wyrmwound, ready to start a clan of her own. There, she met another Wildclaw who needed a purpose. She started her clan in her homeland. With her own successes, others joined her. Dragons curious about the natural world found her and she gave them a home with her and her family. Slowly but surely, her clan grew.

Grimora always wanted to return to the Southern Icefield and grow out her winter coat. Once her clan was large enough to safely travel to the Fortress of Ends, she decided to relocate. She was prepared to build her own home from the ground up, digging out caves and constructing new laboratories from nothing but the ice and snow around them. Everyone in her clan was ready to put in the work for their new home as well. Once they reached the Fortress of Ends, Grimora was going to take Magic and Blooper on a patrol to find a place for them to start building. But the night before they were to separate from the rest of the clan, Blooper disappeared. He returned in the morning with the knowledge of a large, empty network of caverns. She discovered that it hadn’t been occupied in a very long time. Working together, the denizens of her clan discovered that disease had decimated the clan before them, evidence of it was frozen into the walls. For the Plague clan, it wasn’t a problem. And with only a few repairs, she and her clan moved in. And there they remain.
