Konahrik is a progenitor, a rare type of dragon born not of mortal parents but of the very elements of the world, blessed with tremendous power and a lifespan many times longer than that of other dragons. He was born to the gods of fire and earth in the Ashfall Waste and wandered the volcanic landscape for many years before encountering another of his kind, a progenitor named Sepredia, and together they survived the near-extinction of their kind. They fled far from the Ashfall Waste to a small island just off the coast of the Sunbeam Ruins, dominated by a great dormant volcano where they created a small but thriving lair, attracting many dragons and aldar from all over the world. Konahrik is an ancient warrior known for both his prowess in battle and his wisdom. He can often be seen on the platforms jutting out along the flank of the volcano, sunbathing and keeping watch over his clan from high above.
