A mother hen to her children, and reliable attendant to her customers. Saoirse has always been a sweetheart. She takes notes frantically to help with her forgetful nature, making sure to note down new guests in the registry with detailed notes on how they smell, what room they’re taking, and for how long. “Lemons with a mist of freshly cut grass are in room 201 for a day - Selena!” for example.

While her partner takes care of all the cooking, she handles most of the interactions and waitressing. She used to handle the cleaning, but her offspring have taken over most of those roles nowadays trying to help out. Maybe the only ‘regret’ that she has is leaving the Singing Brooks, her hatchling-hood home.

She burns candles of ‘Windswept Bamboo’ and ‘Bamboo Falls’ when she’s feeling more homesick, though Daragh and the hatchlings are easy reminders of her new home and happiness.
