Biography
The odd one out of the three hatchlings that I got as a gift. In fact, when I let the three into the lair, I thought there were only two: Ikor and his twin, Dehki. This one treated everything like a game of hide and seek, and and it didn't help that his colors were very dark. It wasn't until I heard a few yelps of pain that I saw Dehki with a mouthful of feathers running from the source: this little guy.
I double checked the gift message while trying to keep the hatchling at least somewhat calm, and found out that yes, I was supposed to get three.
Later on, while trying the get the Pearlcatcher twins to understand that no, you weren't supposed use him as a source of bedding, Zlyva offered to call him Rune. I didn't even see the patterns on his side yet, but even without them, Rune seemed like a good fit. After all, the light of curiosity and mystery glinted in his eyes.

These dragons are growing to be absolutely massive! Honestly, I am very glad I got this lair with its larger than usual caverns. Otherwise, we might have to dig out some more! (As if we won't need to do so in the future...)
Ahem. Out of the original trio, he is the youngest ("Only by a day!") and thus the one who had gotten picked on the most (by Dehki, mostly). Ikor is actually quite nice towards Rune, despite The Garden Incident, and lets Rune lay about in the garden as long as he helps out and doesn't trample the everything.
Other than that, he has a definite rivalry with Dehki. One of them will challenge the other to a game of hide and seek, and Rune always has dibs on hiding.
