Belladonna is a skilled spy and poisoner, but she has little interest in relationships. For her, everything is purely business.

While she claims to be a master manipulator and strategist, Belladonna is far luckier than she is clever.

Too rash and impulsive, she got in trouble several times, but got bailed out by her colleagues more than once

A relatively recent addition to Clan Palette, Belladonna joined House Aureolin shortly after the schism and has never known the days of an united clan.

No one is sure of the reasons who made her swear loyalty to the Aureolin royalty, but most suspect she pledged allegiance to them because she disliked them the least.

Belladonna is nicknamed "The Queen of Backstabbers" because of her perpetual tendency to always plot against someone.

However, due to her poor planning skills, she is far more efficient in destroying her own schemes than anything else.

In fact, Belladonna is her own worst enemy.

Belladonna is one of House Aureolin's Spymasters. Her job mostly entails investigating and reporting information about the three other houses to the royalty of House Aureolin.

Stealthy she might be, but most people are usually suspicious of her, and it got worse since the famous "Hemlock-laced cupcakes incident"

As a spymaster, she is incredibly stealthy and apt at camouflage, even with the burden of her crystal shell.

Another of her skills is her apt work with poisons and toxins. She grows her own poisonous plants and lately, has started to breed numerous kinds of arachnids

Belladonna herself

____It is a common saying in the Tangled Woods that the most precious thing to Shadowbinder is someone's secrets, and that the same thing goes for her most apt followers.

Belladonna is the proof. Born in the heart of the Shadow domain, Belladonna always has a knack for grabbing hold of important information and selling it to the highest bidder.

In life, the then-Skydancer worked as a middleman for several shady organisations. Naturally, in that domain, you have to learn the art of blackmail to survive.

And quickly you learn that reactions to blackmail can be pretty unpredictable, leading Belladonna to a untimely death at the hands of an Imperial clanleader who didn't appreciate the "honest truths" Belladonna provided her.

____It would be harsh to say that Belladonna is that friend nobody likes, even in House Aureolin, but it would also be true. The spymaster is fully aware that due to her cunning nature, she has very few allies, and should she die a second time, few would mourn her.

The thought terrifies her. Not because she wants friends, but because her amazing legend would probably die with her

Qualities

____The best things about Belladonna are...

● She is determined. If something doesn't work out, she is going to try something else until she finds a solutions. For Belladonna, everything is possible and anything goes

● She is confident. Belladonna will never undersell herself, and no matter how many failures she met, she still believes she is the absolute best spy on this side of Sornieth.

● She is fair. The spymaster might be a serial backstabber, but she believes in equivalent exchange of information. If you need a small favor from her, she won't ask for something huge.

Dislikes

____However, Belladonna loathes the following

● Imperials. She finds them untrustworthy, due to her demise at the claws of one

● Pearlcatchers. The entire pearl thing creeps her out

● Really, anything from Light Flight

● Parasites and bugs infesting her plants

● The company of most dragons. Especially her work partners

Flaws

____Because Belladonna isn't flawless...

● She is impulsive. Most of her failures are caused by her own miscalculations and other general bad decisions, such as underestimating others, but also going for plans who are high-risk / high-reward over safer options

● Belladonna is not trustworthy. Although she is quite upfront about it, some naive dragons have gotten unpleasant surprises from the Shadow spymaster

● She is opportunistic. With Belladonna, there isn't a thing such as "something for nothing".
However, remember that she is far from greedy and is always open for fair negociation.

It is unknown how the two Belladonnas met, but they have quickly bonded over things such as being awesome (according to Nocturne-Belladonna),
strong (also according to Nocturne-Belladonna) and their abilities at making deadly flower crowns
