Before Memoir was known as The Florist of Starwood Gardens, he grew up as one with plant life. everywhere he walked, flowers blossomed beneath his feet during the spring and summer. When he rested under the shade of a tree, all sorts of creatures feel a wave of calm and follow suit.

The trees resting on his shoulders serve as an alternative home for small birds to raise their chicks, and he is always careful not to move too fast or risk breaking the nest or even the cocoons of other butterflies.

While Memoir is aware of his gift, he does not know why or how he got blessed with such a thing. He doesn't really think he deserves it, and should've went to someone else. Of course, that's not to say he's ungrateful.

Sometimes when flowers are hard to come by during the colder seasons, he laces his wings with pollen and juices from oranges for his butterfly companions.
