Q. Does anyone actually ask you these things?
A. Not really, but it's a convenient way to cover any questions people might have down the road!

Q. What do I call you? What are your pronouns?
A. Call me Moth! My pronouns are they/them and he/him!

Q. Is this an exalting lair?
A. Yes but no? I don't really have a vested interest in Dominance, the bonuses are nice but I'm not super competitive so if my flight doesn't win so be it. I don't make a habit of buying dragons to exalt, if I want to exalt stuff I'll just breed my own dragons and yeet their offspring into the stormy void. Sometimes if I need space I will make the difficult decision to exalt a dragon I've purchased if I can't find anyone to rehome them to, but it's pretty rare. I absolutely loathe training fodder in the coli too so there's no reason for me to buy a dragon with the intent to exalt it.

I promise you, if I bought a dragon from you, I'm not planning to feed it to the Stormcatcher.

Q. Do you ever change flights?
A. Never. I've been Lightning from the day I joined, and I don't see myself swapping!

Q. Why do you have so many neon dragons?
A. Because I have a personal vendetta against eyeballs. Burn BURN! MUHAHAHA!!

(Joking aside, I just think they're neat!)

Q. Favorite breeds?
A. Aberrations, Obelisks and Spirals.

Q. Can I use your bio codes?
A. I don't think I'm doing anything groundbreaking with these, so sure go ahead! Send me a DM if you want a certain code!

Q. Is [dragon] for sale/trade/giveaway?
A. If they're not in my sales tab, probably not! Dragons in my Hibernal Den's storage tab I might consider offers on, but nothing in my lair is for sale unless it's in the sale tab, generally speaking.

Please don't ask me to give you one of my dragons though. I don't usually gift dragons away outside of announced giveaways unless I'm surprising a friend with something.

Q. Are all of your dragons' offspring canon?
A. Absolutely not have you seen how many there are?
That'd be absurd!
Sometimes I decide to keep a familial relationship between dragons based on their actual in game genetics, sometimes I don't. I certainly don't count the thousands of exalted hatchlings I've been through as canon. I think any of my dragons that canonically have kids have a reasonable amount.

Except Ishtar who may or may not be trying to produce an army of her own (expendable) hatchlings.
Ishtar kind of sucks though.

Q. I bought a dragon from you that's the child of one of yours, and I like your lore. Can I keep their relationship with their parent(s) canon in my lore somehow?
A. If you really want to, feel free to talk to me about it! I'm usually pretty chill about things, but sometimes I pair two dragons together who aren't actually together in canon, or who I don't think canonically would want to have children. Mostly because I kind of like seeing what happens if I smash two wildly different dragons together sometimes. I'm definitely willing to figure something out, I just want to be talked to about it first.

The exception to this is Ishtar and Nine's kids- you don't need to ask to keep their relationship with their parents canon in your own lore if you want. They have a lot of kids and she wants those horrible gremlins to go Everywhere.

Q. Can our clans be allies, or have some sort of relationship?
A. Currently I'm keeping major relationships as something between myself and my close friends, especially since my story isn't entirely compliant with site canon. If you're not a friend, but have an idea you can't shake you can absolutely approach me about it, but be aware that I am most likely going to politely decline!

Q. Why isn't your clan canon compliant?
A. It's too much work to fact check every little detail of my storytelling to make sure that I'm staying in the guidelines of canon, and there's a lot of stuff going on in the current site canon that I just don't feel like integrating into my own stories. Some stuff will align with canon, some stuff won't, I'm just playing it fast and loose with whatever works best for me!

Q. Can I use concepts from your lore in my own lore?
A. If you want to, go right ahead. I don't think anything I'm doing here is exceptionally original. That being said, however, if my lore inspires you I would definitely appreciate a little shout out or credit of some sort for the original concepts!

I do ask, however, that you don't 1:1 copy whole story elements or characters, or just copy-paste what I have written into your own lore posts.

Q. Why do you have so many dragons inspired by media that's a much higher rating content wise than the site?
A. Because I'm an adult, and I happen to have interests in M rated media. I'm incredibly careful with my content warnings, and also make sure that nothing I include in dragon bios goes against the site content rules. I respect that this is a space that is meant for pretty much all ages, and curate my content appropriately. There are plenty of people around the site with fandragons for mature properties, I don't think I'm that unusual for it!
