The princess cursing her kingdom out of jealousy?
Who would ever believe such an obvious lie?

The truth is all in a maid's memory. A maid who couldn't do anything to save her beloved friend and princess from their family.
To save them from the curse.

Mair one day found herself eavesdropping a conversation between the youngest princess and the king while she was going to serve breakfast to the older princess.

They were to strip her of her title of heir and banish her, as she was the daughter of the previous queen, the only queen who dared to resist the king's charm and rejected his love.
Mair couldn't do anything as they moved as soon as they finished their talk as the local festival was starting.
What's better then that to destroy someone completely?
Summoning everyone, the king started his speech soon ending their life as they know it.

They didn't expect to get a backfire by the form of a curse, from the deceased queen's magic, soon leading them to their current situation.

When she met Echo and fall in love with him, she told him about everything, and how she felt powerless.
He told her about their own kingdom and how they left it to crumble, as soon as he finished, she felt like, even if the fate was against them, it lead them to happiness otherwise impossible to achieve.
