* Born into an ancient cult of Shadeslayers nestled in the forgotten underground caves of the Blacksand Annex.
* Her bright, fiery coloration led her to become revered among her peers- as if she were the chosen one.
* She was raised deep underground as the outside world and leaving the cult were forbidden. Because of this, she can seem distant and out of touch with other dragons of the modern world.
* When she reached adulthood, she was sent out into the world to slay shade creatures. She was allowed to leave because of her bright, fiery scales.
* After leaving, she learned that her experiences in the cult were not normal, and that as a hatchling, she was mistreated. This makes her very bitter.
* Cynical and nihilistic, Myrfan cares not for others but only for herself and her mission. She’ll do whatever she can to slay shade creatures, even if it means betraying dragons she gets to trust her, or using other dragons as bait.
* Due to exposure to shade creatures, her body temperature is lower than that of other fire dragons. She’s unaware of the fact that the prolonged exposure is slowly killing her, like a curse.
* The book at her hip is a book of ancient fire bonding and banishment spells. It’s black magic that feeds off of her energy, but she does not know this.
* Her facepaint is to cover the tattoos on her face left there by the cult. Across her forehead is a string of ancient runes- another thing she doesn’t understand.
* Secretly wants to have friends and people she’s close to, but it’s better to be stone cold and alone than risk losing anyone she cares about.
