  Rumored to once have been a great clan leader, this strange guardian now works alone. Her name is given to others very sparingly. She spends most of her year in the Southern Icefield and returns periodically to the mainland to trade with Clan Crúin and warm her bones. Despite her massive size and stoic manner, she seems to be quite kind when with company. She is always very content to taxi birds here and there on her back during her mysterious travels.

She has recently made herself a home high in the Cloudscrape Crags, as some stragglers from a clan near Aurelia's wanted to see a bit more of the world. The lair is comprised of caves and their tunnels between a few mountains, connected by swinging wooden bridges and ropes of gold and red lanterns. The caves are surprisingly warm inside, due to the new guests tending to fires consistently. Vilkas won't admit to it, but having a real, warm lair in which to put all her books and belongings is growing on her quickly.

There are other, lesser known rumors, that she rejected her own clan due to disgraceful offspring, but nobody has any evidence to prove this claim.
