Biography
Vishnu
God of preservation
Cast out from his homeland of the Starwood Strand by a tyrant, he saw this as an opportunity rather than a misfortune. He set about exploring the world, looking for the perfect place to found a hive—a clan—for those of a similar mind to him: kind, giving, eager to improve themselves for the benefit of all. He took a different name: Vishnu, a foreign god of preservation he'd read about in ancient texts. He felt a kinship with that being, and this action of his would inadvertently initiate a trend among his clanmates.
Along the way, he met Hanuman, who by happenstance he rescued from the very clan which had forced him out. They travelled together, and though he was but a hatchling, the Guardian was an enormous support (figuratively and literally) to the Fae over the journey. They were fated to become Guardian and Charge almost from the beginning.
He settled initially in the Beacon of the Radiant Eye, and spun his roost within the first walls of his Guardian's lair, where he can be found to this day. Though he has taken a mate, he and his Guardian seem to be virtually inseparable, bound deeply despite their considerable differences.
