PERSONALITY
Elthia is very quietly kind. She is curious about the clan she and Xabiere left behind, but she is not tied to any of their customs. She lost half of her first clutch to a Strangler, but her memory of the actual event has faded, leaving her with only the feeling of lost motherhood. She tries to compensate by acting as a mother to every dragon that passes through the territory. She is a little bit naive, having always been sheltered from the outside world by Xabiere.
BACKSTORY

Prologue

Elthia was the last egg to hatch in the original lair. Xabiere's father, the Guardian of the nesting grounds, charged him with protecting the only egg to make it through the serthis attack. Knowing that he would not survive much longer, he gave the last of his energy to make sure that the egg would hatch. Elthia was the only companion Xabiere had through the journey across the Scarred Wasteland and was the original architect of the new lair system.
