Biography
Borden was the first dragon Ealis ever met. He came across her sleeping in her tree hollow and believed her to be all alone. Worried for her safety, and with no other commitments of his own, Borden watched over the sleeping hatchling and waited for her parents to return. As time passed the Tundra dragon grew more and more worried, until finally Ealis woke.
Borden was quite confused when the hatchling called him a 'red trickster!', but eventually learned of Ealis' situation. Not willing to trust the hatchling's well-being to an Ethereal Trickster, a being who was well known for its fickle nature, Borden decided to stay in the area and watch over her. It soon became obvious that the Fae and the Trickster had a genuine attachment to each other, but Borden remained anyways, filling in the gaps of her education left by the Trickster.
One of the two permanent Tundra members of the clan, Borden is considered a part of the Fae half of the clan. On colder nights the smaller dragons will cluster around him for the night to stay warm in his soft fur, and it is not unusual for him to have a Fae or two napping on his back even during the day. The Fae will often bring him different kinds of exotic shampoos and cleansers designed to keep his fur as soft and luxurious as possible, and Borden takes great pride both in his fluffy coat and his value to the rest of the clan. He grew close to Dori in particular among the Fae, and the two have become a close couple, contributing many healthy eggs to the clan.
