Grimmover was once a powerful and feared warlord, known for his ruthless ways and insatiable thirst for power. He ruled over a kingdom with an iron fist, commanding armies and instilling terror in all who crossed his path. However, his lust for power ultimately led to his downfall. In a final battle against a group of legendary warriors, Grimmover was defeated and killed. But instead of finding peace in death, he was cursed to roam the mortal realm as a keeper of souls.

He is tormented by guilt and regret for his former life. As the caretaker of souls, his ultimate goal is to guide them to the afterlife and ensure that they find peace and rest. He believes that by helping others find peace, he can find his own redemption and finally put his troubled past to rest.

Grimmover is devoted to his mate Asteria, a powerful sorceress who showed him kindness and helped him find purpose in his undead existence. It was through their relationship that Grimmover began to heal and learn to care for others.
