Bohemian writer and novelist, Mielle. If he had a charge, it would surely be writing. The dragon is easily disillusioned with the busy city life of Montrose, and lives just outside the caves below the Observatory. Once a month his publisher travels to his little home in the Inverted Hills and checks in on his work.

The tumultuous background and outward image of Mielle may clash with his writing, featuring a hopeful and positive temperament. Losing his family in a series of unfortunate circumstances in the Scarred Wasteland, the writer slaves away at his stories to impart a life lesson unto others.

Among the other odd quirks Mielle features, one of the most immediately noticeable is the fact his voice is quite weak and small. One must wonder what got him into such a predicament.

Words spill from a silent lip
Onto pages that slowly rip
Torn apart by many days
A life spent in grieving haze

Eyes turned forever to the sun
He prays his painful walk is done
He writes of love, tender and fair
To one day abandon his own despair

In a homely cavern by the sea
Now lives an author prodigy
Gazing down a steel-gray slope
He finds within a sense of hope
