p e r s o n a l i t y

puppet is a bit of a brat. he wasn't always like that, he used to be shy and quiet. his name was originally a nickname given to him by his parents for how he always used to follow his siblings around.

when he first started to date his now-wives, he dropped his personality entirely.

after the worst few weeks of his life, puppet bears his name with an ironic certainty. he's confident now because he has to be, with the wives he has. he's fought for every inch of his personality that he's gotten back, from his favorite food to the things that annoy him to the way he responds to compliments.

in a few words, puppet is determined, proud, and mischievous.

f r i e n d s

Queenling, Champion, and Meat are puppet's closest friends. they're the only ones who fought at his side and have earned his full trust. These are the few he introduces to his kids as their aunts. No one else in the clan has earned that honor. And if it was up to him, he wouldn't have even allowed his clutch out of his friends' sight.

goddess - wife

for someone who was low key kidnapped by two goddesses who aren't particularly sure how to exist as normal dragons, puppet is very much in love with his two wives.

their relationship wasn't particularly healthy at first, especially since puppet is so young. it got to the point where puppet's parents had to threaten to fight back his then-lovers in order to keep him safe. being treated as his namesake and then the sudden separation from his wives was almost enough to break him. there was some time there where puppet was nothing but a hollow shell, empty of the drive given to him by his doting lovers.

with the help of his family and friends, puppet clawed his way back to life and came up with boundaries and ways he can exist separately from his wives. he's always been a little bit obsessive, just like his wives, and he used that to his advantage when winning them back.

he loves them dearly and he knows from experience that they will do anything for him.

nexus is the one he made first contact with while he explored the neighboring lands. she is the more reasonable between his two wives and the one more willing to pretend to be something she isn't. puppet spends most of his time with her trying to break her composure

goddess is far more indragon than nexus, as she lacks the maturity nexus has gained with her age. she still struggles not to treat him as she had - like her own personal puppet. she knows his limits now, though, and will stop at the first hint that he feels uncomfortable. the two of them enjoy spending time together in silence, leaned up against each other, exchanging gentle touches and soft looks.

alex is a steadfast companion for puppet. they would follow him to the end of the world for the kindness he showed them during their first meeting. it was them who first saw nexus and goddess and it was them who mortally wounded their familiars during the fight to get puppet back.

now that everything's over, gallan and sabrina avoid them. they don't particularly care. they're going to do everything in their power to protect puppet.

they're an assassin, after all.
