From a young age, Rasp was looked down upon by her fellow dragons. She rarely spoke up to defend herself, which made it harder for others to determine if she actually wanted to be stood up for at all. The day that she first spoke was one that determined her place within the clan- a discovery. She had found a lost hatchling. Her voice, rough from disuse, rose above the clamor and bustle of frantically searching dragons:

"Here! You wretches, I found the dragonet!"

Her name was earned that day, as the sound of her voice demanded attention and would not settle for anything less. Rasp felt no need to prove herself, even though the rest of the clan thought her weak for her lack of speech. These days, whenever a dragon dare to taunt her...by the 9 Flights, her talons will surely seek out their eyes for the blindness they have spoken through.

"I have earned my job as a show of strength. Do not underestimate me because I feel no need to waste my words on you."
