Bleak

An Imperial with an eternally youthful spirit, Bleak was once part of a long line of servants to the Tidelord. After the deity's unfortunate disappearance, her family fled to the icy peaks of the Cloudscape Crags where she was born shortly after their arrival.

When Bleak was a hatchling, she always loved to swim in the frigid waters of the Icewarden's lands. As a young dragon, she was found to be an oracle; a miraculous discovery given the Tidelord's vanishing taking place years prior. Though, her method of seeing into the future turned out to be unconventional, to say the least. She has to go into a deep slumber for weeks to months at a time. It's unclear whether she communes with the missing water deity or some other elusive being during this time.

Once Bleak was grown, she returned to the Tidelord's territory to feel closer to what she felt was her deity. She traveled the Sea of a Thousand Currents with a small group of Snappers for years until she met Kirava, a grumpy and antisocial dragon who was hard to put up with at first. After a while of the two getting to know each other, Kirava convinced Bleak to settle down in the clan the two currently reside in. She's still getting used to her life here, but she gets along well with most other dragons, and the spacious lair she shares with Kirava is beginning to feel like home.

Bleak makes a living by telling other dragons their future for a large sum of treasure dictated by the length of time she is asleep. During this time, Kirava watches over her possessions and takes care of the lair. She makes hundreds of thousands of treasure a month this way, but it seems to be taking a toll on her body. In the past months, she seems to be getting thinner as the frequency in her readings grows.
