Old name Vexew. 200g impulse by because I'm determined to get more than 3 Linkin Park albums. All out of order of course cx Living Things was actually the concert tour that my family and I went to go see when they came over to NZ! It was AMAZING and I got a shirt (ok it just has the band on it but still) :D

Fam is named after the one who directed the music video for Burn It Down. Diaph to Flecks 27/06/22.

Living Things (stylized in all caps) is the fifth studio album by American rock band Linkin Park. It was released under Warner Bros. Records and Machine Shop Recordings on June 26, 2012, in Japan, and throughout the rest of the world during the following week. Production was handled by vocalist Mike Shinoda and Rick Rubin, who both co-produced the band's previous two studio albums, Minutes to Midnight (2007) and A Thousand Suns (2010). Living Things would be their last album to be produced by Rubin & to be recorded at NRG Recording Studios.

The band states that Living Things combines elements from their previous four studio albums to create a new sound. They stated they finally felt they were in "familiar territory" and "comfortable in [their] own skin" after years of experimentation that resulted in their two previous studio albums, Minutes to Midnight and A Thousand Suns. Living Things was chosen as the album's title because of the numerous personal topics on the album.

The lead single for the album, "Burn It Down", was sent to radio and released to digital music retailers on April 16, 2012. Living Things debuted at number one on Billboard 200 with sales of 223,000 copies in the United States in its opening week. The second single for the album, "Lost in the Echo", was released on October 5, 2012. The third single "Powerless" was released on October 31, 2012. The fourth and final single for the album, "Castle of Glass", was released in its physical format on February 1, 2013. The album was certified Platinum by the RIAA in August 2017.

Burn It Down wrote:
The cycle repeated
As explosions broke in the sky
All that I needed
Was the one thing I couldn't find
And you were there at the turn
Waiting to let me know

We're building it up to break it back down
We're building it up to burn it down
We can't wait to burn it to the ground

The colours conflicted
As the flames climbed into the clouds
I wanted to fix this
But couldn't stop from tearing it down

And you were there at the turn
Caught in the burning glow
And I was there at the turn
Waiting to let you know

We're building it up to break it back down
We're building it up to burn it down
We can't wait to burn it to the ground

You told me yes, you held me high
And I believed when you told that lie
I played soldier, you played king
And struck me down when I kissed that ring
You lost that right to hold that crown
I built you up but you let me down
So when you fall, I'll take my turn
And fan the flames as your blazes burn

And you were there, at the turn
Waiting to let me know

We're building it up to break it back down
We're building it up to burn it down
We can't wait to burn it to the ground

When you fall, I'll take my turn
And fan the flames as your blazes burn

We can't wait to burn it to the ground

When you fall, I'll take my turn
And fan the flames as your blazes burn

We can't wait to burn it to the ground.

WRAITH
fury bubbles up in the most unexpected ways

"Take extreme caution when you cross paths with any amount of them, and consider yourself lucky if you survive the encounter." an expert on Wraiths

qpDH7Eg.pngEver the opportunist, Wraiths enjoy phasing into the physical realm when it's least convenient for their latest target(s), and attempting to sabotage both them and their environment.

Now that Veilspun have come out of the tangled woodwork, things have changed for the better — at least for these creatures. The breed's size, safety in numbers, and ability to hypnotize with ease, instantly appealed to Wraiths, and thus they've changed their physical forms to suit.

It's still common for them to venture into heavily populated clans, either alone or in a small group of two to five, but now they can cause a chain of chaos with ease, just by staying within sight of their temporary companions.

Wraiths are drawn to those with building negative emotions — especially anger, and grief — and compel them to release it on the unsuspecting clan.

The best way to defeat Wraiths is either by chasing them off — for despite their numbers, their size leaves them vulnerable to most physical attacks, and their magic lacks in the way of defense — by temporarily banishing them back to their plane, or, if one deems themself lucky, by capturing them.
