Tourmaline is an explorer who dreams of mapping the world. He wanders hither and thither, selling his cartographical efforts for profit and discovering new spots of hidden wonder.

Tourmaline himself is easily distracted and always dreaming; he rarely stands still, and when he is it's usually to appreciate the pleasant thrum of arcane magic as it permanently courses through his body. He tends to be very 'out of it' and often distracted, but when focused, he sets an uproarious pace that many dragons struggle to keep up with. He is strange, ethereal and highly imaginative though doesn't seem to have a realistic view of the world's hardships. The fact that he lacks a spectrum of negative emotions can sometimes get on people's nerves.

Tourmaline will always be willing to lend a wing to shelter under and a hug to younger dragons who cannot yet resolve their problems on their own.
