Virtually everyone knows that Silver's research is not strictly safe, and perhaps not strictly sane either, but not many people are willing to call him on it. After all, that would involve finding out exactly what Silver's research IS . . .
For someone so embedded in dark mysteries that dragons were not meant to understand, Silver is courteous, pleasant, and noticeably handsome. He is popular in the lair for that alone, and his quick crucial help in magical emergencies is not to be discounted either. Adopted from the Plague flight as a very young dragon, Silver is distant from his origins. There is tension between him and Windchaser for this reason, as Windchaser thinks that he should take more pride in such a fierce and honorable heritage.
