Juniper is the expert gardener of the clan who has carved out a beautifully cultivated and tended niche for them in the wilderness. Juniper is a devotee of the Gladekeeper and although she loved her original Wind clan, she always felt like an outsider until she joined Hestia’s hearth. With Juniper’s help, the lair has become a true sanctuary for everyone who visits.

PRE-CLAN HISTORY

Although she was born to a Wind clan, Juniper always felt the pull of Nature and dreamed of watching life grow and blossom under her care. While others in her family heard the call of the sky, Juniper daydreamed of burying her claws in the dirt. Her gentle, friendly nature helped her cope for a time with her first clan but she was terribly lonely and felt as if she couldn’t be who she really was.

When she became an adult the clan expected her to choose a mate and continue the bloodlines, but the idea terrified Juniper. She had always felt happiest imagining a future without a significant other in it and the thought of sharing her space and being expected to act like the other couples around her filled her made her very uncomfortable. She wanted the freedom to be by herself and live life her way.

Eventually she decided to follow her heart and venture out in search of a place where she could celebrate the Gladekeeper openly and craft the life she desired.

LIFE IN THE CLAN

---

Hestia's clan welcomed her with open arms and now Juniper tends to the gardens and fields surrounding the lair. The clan grows its own food, and Juniper has been keen to learn all the secrets of successful farming and horticulture from passing travelers. With her help the land has flourished and the plantlife is more vigorous and vibrant than many have seen.

At first the other dragons did not understand when Juniper timidly approached the hearth asking to create a special garden just to look at. But Juniper's meditation garden is something to behold, with all her favourite plants and flowers growing in stunning displays. The air is beautifully perfumed and all who visit feel refreshed.

Juniper's kind and healing nature has also led to her becoming a listening ear to the clan and she offers counsel and guidance to any dragon who needs it.

Juniper is very content with her life in the clan and proud of her accomplishments in the garden. On her last birthday just before the Greenskeeper Gathering she was blessed with a dream from the Gladekeeper who showed her garden blossoming for many years to come and thanked her for her service. As the dream faded, the Gladekeeper placed one claw tip against Juniper's head and lovingly murmured "my child." Juniper awoke with tears in her eyes and every day since has felt a renewed sense of optimism and belonging.
