About Mauve
Mauve despised her home more than anything. Born as the princess, to the demons of the plague, her life was torturous. Her skin, a constant reminder of all the blood they spilled. Her aura a reminder of the chains this place had on her. The bandages a reminder of the sacrifice she holds for His domain. She longed to be somewhere else, not knowing if that even existed. She wished to break her chains. When she heard the King and Queen had travelled to another realm it piqued her interest. During their absence she searched the palace for knowledge. She stumbled upon scrolls, containing bodily spells. Once her parents were said to return she knew the scrolls like the back of her hand. There was a simple spell "move matter", which was really nothing special in its original state. Mauve had come to discover the modification of spells. As she was still tinkering with it the King and Queen returned. Doom fell upon her; she had run out of time. It was the moment to be sacrificed to the Plaguebringer as every princess before her. She hastily started with the spell as she heard the knights come for her. She fled as she tried to finish the spell. While she ran her bandages were leaking. She was losing a lot of blood. As a result of the constant cutting of her skin to feed Him. Just as she reached the end of the spell she fell to the ground. The blood loss had become too much.
About Thicket & Mauve
Mauve awoke in an unfamiliar place; there was a lot of green around her, opposed to the usual red. All these things she had never seen before. She wanted to take a closer look at the strange colours but was stopped by the aching of her body. The spell had worked but it drained her body. Knowing how her home was she hurriedly looked for shelter, to heal and avoid being preyed on. As her body ached and decayed she made her way through this strange place.
She caught the scent of something. Worried of falling prey she tried her best to avoid it. Yet it seemed that it was following her trail. Eventually she decided to climb up into something that looked like the trees at home, only upright and filled with green and tiny beings. The sun had gone down, and a yawn escaped the hunter's lips. She watched him set up camp for the night. As he set for sleep he looked up at the sky and spoke some strange words.
Mauve stared at the sleeping dragon all throughout the night as it slept. What a peculiar looking dragon, she thought. She studied every part of him. As she was laid on the branches in the tree that peered over him. Her scales continued to shed off her body, as coming here was a strain on it. She was curious about this dragon that has been following her. She assumed this to be the predator of this place. She didn't have much magic left and was feeling quite weak. She spoke a spell to resemble his looks. Unbeknownst to her she only managed to make her face resemble his but couldn't muster much else.
When sunrise came she was sat in front of him, inquisitively watching as he woke up. This was all unfamiliar to her. This world, and everything concerning this peculiar dragon. She felt the need to want to explore and discover more.
The dragon opened his eyes and looked at her. Seeing her spooked him. Mauve wondered if the spell didn't work. He recollected himself and said some strange words. Mauve tilted her head. This dragon was so interesting. She watched him rummaged around his supplies, grabbing strange things and placing these between them. Then he said some more strange words as he was doing something. She tilted her head again, not quite sure what he was doing or saying. Once he seemed to be done he put out his hand at her with something on it. The strange thing and action spooked her and made her move back. He looked a bit confused but then said something strange again and then took a bite of the thing in his hand. She watched, and studied him. Then came back and sat in front of him again. She presumed this predator to find her friendly. She figured the spell had worked. She said her name and also took a bite. The strange stuff was delicious! She heard him say some more strange words but just kept chomping the deliciousness.
