The sun streaks through the treetops, alighting on a great beast who lays curled around what appears to be some sort of parcel. He carefully grooms each of his scales, ascertaining that each golden scale shimmers in the light. He looks toward the sun. Where most would squint and shy away from the brightness, his pale golden eyes take in the light and seem unaffected.

Having finished his preening, the great wyrm lifts himself and spreads huge, pale yellow wings toward the sky. "Hail Lightweaver," he says softly to himself before taking to the air. As Clan Aerus's ambassador and courier, he has an incredible amount of responsibility. But he revels in it, enjoying traveling to distant lands, and spending his time in the air, surrounded by the beams of light that remind him so strongly of his creator.

Iku was one of the first dragons that helped to lift Clan Aerus's strict religious regulation rules. Worship of the Windsinger was once harshly enforced. Given time, not only were members of Clan Aerus allowed to deny worship to the Windsinger, they were allowed to declare fealty to any number of the eleven deities. Iku has revolutionized the laws of Clan Aerus, and subsequently was awarded his position. He spends most of his time away from his home in the Reedcleft Ascent, preferring to travel and soak up the sun.
