New Beginnings
A lone dragon rests comfortably on it's back in a leafy hammock nestled between top of two palm trees. A ray of sunlight beamed through clouds and blankets the legs of the dragon in a warm and golden glow as a slight breeze sweeps the hammock from side to side. Distance parrots squawk into the summer air in search of their mates and a band of crickets chirp in the nearby bushes. The clouds lazily roll on, revealing even more of sun's radiance as it shines down onto the sleeping dragon. The harsh light stirs the dragon who moves onto it's side and rubbing sleepy eyes it sits up to stretch deeply awakening tired muscles. and deciding it's finally time to start his day he grips the bark of the palm tree with sharp claws and begins to descend.

Paws sink into the warm and inviting sand of the beach as he reaches the base of the homely tree. He makes his way down a path, worn into the ground from frequent use, between he gathering palm trees and thick ferns that litter the ground away from the beach and the scorching sun. Here it's shaded from the harsh rays and hidden away from the world as he ventures deeper into the undergrowth. After a short walk Allium reaches a clearing, the ground here has been painstakingly tilled with hand made stone tools and potato leaves are beginning the sprout through the ground. Allium bends down to inspect his growing vegetables and picking up a watering can begins to water the thirsty sprouts and as he is tending peacefully to his garden he reminisces back to much different times - a pirate's life much far removed from his new life. He was part of a crew originally set out to explore Sornieth's seas that would later begin to board and raid invading sea vessels. Those days were gripping and exciting but he grew tired of the ocean waves - living on a cramped ship had a lot of downfalls - and there were many reasons he wanted to leave this life behind and live in peace and solitude. What better place to do it than a deserted island?

An argument broke out on-board the ship and it proved to be the last straw for Allium as he demanded to be let off despite being hundreds of miles away from civilisation. After his emotion fuelled demand was met and he was dropped off at this nearby island it dawned on him that he had no survival training or skills, sure he was well equipped for the hearty sea but on land? Making a base on the island was hard at first and he spent a good week curled up on the sandy shores before deciding he should get on with things and prepare to live here. It didn't take him long to craft and string up the hammock and set up base at the edge of the treeline where the woody jungle met the hot sands of the beach. A leaf hammock isn't best suited for the thunderous wet season the island would face so after setting up the garden with some wild potatoes he had found he set his sights on a new project; to make a nearby cave a suitable holiday home to use during the wet monsoon like rains.
