Biography
Champion APPAREL SLOTS ACQUIRED ELIMINATE ALSO ACQUIRED!? TIME FOR THE REST OF HIS BATTLESTONES EHEHEH New problem: I have no idea what build he's gonna be I just know he's gonna be a fighter of some kind. His not-boyfriend Requiem is going to be his support mage Elias is deadly in battle, wielding his broadsword as a foci to amplify his attacks, both physical and magical. He is a force to be reckoned with, and he has an air of mystery about him. This air of mystery is a facade that hides that Elias is, in fact, devastatingly awkward in any and all social situations. He leaves these entirely up to his most frequent companion, Requiem. This little guy has a story. One day, on a day that was going quite poorly for me, I was browsing the Auction House when I happened upon a lovely little plague fae with coal/coal/maize colors. He was level 25, with Eliminate (and likely a full build I can't remember). I was enamored with him! But he was 300kt, and that was a lot to spend on a trainer dragon when I already have two trainer dragons. Yet I just couldn't stop thinking about him. About fifteen minutes later, I went back to his page intending to buy him... And he had been exalted. I was devastated. (Not really. It's a pixel dragon I probably would have been fine. But I WAS very sad.) And then I decided I would still get my hands on him, one way or another. There was no way to figure out who exalted him, since he had been exalted in a lair that wasn't his home lair, so I couldn't offer them the 300kt back and some extra fodder dragons in exchange for him. So instead I turned to his parents. Their colors were far enough apart that the likelihood of another coal/coal/maize dragon soon were low. I could have just had some patience and waited, but I hate waiting, and I needed my sweet prince NOW. I opened the auction house. I searched the least specific possible search for what I wanted: a male dragon with plague eyes and coal/coal/maize colors. Nothing. I broadened my search: dragons with coal/coal/maize colors. This yielded results: his father, Glynwen, and his mother, Ciana. Glynwen was cheap enough that I don't remember how much he cost. Ciana was... less so. She was a hefty 275kt, almost as much as the original dragon! I bought her anyway. I don't remember if she was the cheapest female available in the closest colors, but she had to have been-- if there had been a coal/coal/maize dragon, I would have bought her. Cream was the closest I could get and I was okay with that. I'm not a plague player, so I tossed the two dragons at my friend necromantics to breed. And then I bought gems and then I bought a Boon of Fertility and then I bought a Scroll of Maturity for my new dragon, who hatched not only with the right colors, but also the right primary and secondary genes, AND the eye type matching his inspiration(?). I bought him a Calico Ferberus partially because it matches his colors and partially because I was still nursing my wounds at having not gotten the original dragon and needed to spend some treasure to recuperate. And then I spent too many gems dressing him up, buying him apparel slots and eliminate, and generally doting on him. Behold my son. |
