Casimira's Search was a harrowing, confusing experience. She followed the pull in her gut for months before she found An Ríocht Fiadhchoill, and was surprised to find that it led her to a small hatchling. She announced that this was her charge and set about looking over the little thing. When it had grown into a dragon, the most extraordinary thing happened. The bond disappeared.

Casmira was frantic, knowing for certain that this dragon was no longer her Charge, but fearing what that meant for her as a Guardian. She paced in the woods for days, concentrating on that pull which had led her here. It still pulled her to the Clan, but it was no longer affixed to a dragon. Was the Clan her charge? she wondered. She was close.

When the next clutch hatched - a set of four - the bond returned, and Casimira started to understand. Her Charge was not a single hatchling, it was the progeny of the Wildwood Kingdom in their many forms and times. When the hatchlings matured, she still felt protective of them, but it was to a lesser degree compared to what she felt for the hatchlings. She set up a nursery and began to tend to the little ones, at last content. She discovered that her Guadianship did not limit itself to children born of the Kingdom, but also those hatchlings it adopted into its midst. As long as An Ríocht Fiadhchoill made claim to them, they were under her protection.

To the hatchlings, she is a kind and gentle mother, a bastion of protection and security. To other dragons, she is a guarded creature, quiet - but firm and alert to any potential threat. As the hatchlings grow, she becomes their teacher as well and they learn not to cross her.
