Biography
The daughter of Obsidian, Layla was brought into the study of magical artifacts early, and quickly grew to love it. For some reason never producing a pearl, and with even the mineral suppliments failing to help her, Layla tends to avoid most pearlcatchers outside of her clan. Sometimes she will carry around a pearl-shaped pot however.
Like many archeologists, Layla and her family rushed to the newly discovered harpy city; though when Obsidian told both her and Kalley that they were just going to study things and not take anything, she was initially confused. When her father explained his reasons, that taking things from a living culture wasn't right, she agreed to only study things; under the careful watch of a few of the bandits that had been pestering the clan for some time.
