Pride

When I entered this Tale, I had to give up most of my colors. But - so I was told - my shining appearance could be rebuilt within the rules of Sornieth. So I worked hard for it, and, dare I say, succeeded.

I hatched under waning moonlight, in a world where powerful magic existed, but only few dragons were chosen to possess it. Fire breath and wit were my only weapons, as I wasn't among the lucky ones. However, hidden away and guarded by my teachers of all dragons, existed an artifact that held the key to one's greatest desires.

Long story short, I stole it. And I used it to give myself magical powers.

Many moons (and shenanigans) later, I placed a spell on a story scroll so that it may hold part of my soul, allowing it to travel the worlds of fiction. (Turns out, my original world was nothing but a Tale too, but that is beside the point.)
And that's how I ended up here. Wherever dragons dwell, the Traveler of Tales won't be far.

Why Arcane, you ask? Well, you are right, Fire might have suited me just as well considering my breath weapon. Maybe even Shadow - I certainly would've fit in with a flight of sneaky tricksters like myself. It was a decision I contemplated for a while, and I eventually reached the conclusion that without magic, I wouldn't be here at all - therefore, the arcane amounted to the most "core" part of me, so it was only right to join the corresponding flight.
