SmokyBlue

Smokey's life is full of lament and regret. On the outside, he appears to be nothing more than a serious, humorless warrior of a clan most fear. But inside, he is always thinking about his life he could have had, confiding to the only being he shows emotion to, his familiar Ratcog.

He started out a normal Gaoler from the Seedscar. When he grew up and ventured beyond the Plaguebringer's domain, he met Azalea. Their birth flight didn't matter, they loved each other. Before they could start a family together, though, the Plaguebringer and Arcanist gathered every dragon they could for an attack on each other. Azalea and SmokeyBlue tried to escape from the battle, but tragedy struck. A stray blast of fire breath scorched Smokey's horns, causing him immense pain. In his pain-driven rage, he was forced to heavily injure three Arcane dragons to escape with his beloved. But seeing this side of him, Azalea fled, not caring if it was in self defense.

SmokeyBlue regrets everything about that day. The family he'll never have. The damage done to his horns. The hatred he developed to both Plague and Arcane led to him joining a clan against the Eleven. While he doesn't agree with their actions, he simply wants to unify the world so another dragon will never have to go through his heartbreak.

Smokey finds it ironic that Azalea joined the same clan as Butterscotch fled to. Bitter irony indeed.
