Biography
She is sometimes called the “Keeper of Dreams”, but she is far from a deity of any kind. Having earned such a title from frequently appearing in others’ dreams, she is merely a lost spirit trying to maintain her connections with others.
No one knows (or remembers) what happened, but something surrounding the circumstances of her death prevented her spirit from fully departing. At best, she could walk along the border between the living world and the afterlife, but she could not join with the rest of her lost relatives. So she turned to dreams and fantasies as a way of keeping in contact with those she was closest to.
However, over the years, as the world has become more skeptical and dismissive of such things as fantasy and myth, her ability to communicate with the living via the subconscious has diminished. She can still appear in the minds of children, as their naivety makes them more apt to believe in the supernatural. But their memories of her only survive for as long as she is in their presence, and they forget her once she leaves.
To this day, she still continues to communicate with the children of the world, playing with them and watching over them, like an imaginary friend.
