Nyxta knows her worth, knows her ability, her power. She walks through life knowing the sort of looks she gets and revels in it. She does not partake though, oh no. For as coveted as she is of the longing look and the reverent sigh, she craves the singular attention of one such as she. Powerful, dangerous, beautiful. It is only when she has found such a mate that she shall stop leaving broken hearts and minds behind her, for it is her power to drive dragon to madness and it can only be collared by a true companion.

Nyxta was born into power. The dark daughter of two of the Hunt's greatest occultists, she is made of magic and darkness. Such things manifest differently in her kin. Some are made to weave the night, others the earth, and yet, even more, the Deep and Dark between the sun filtering into their home. For Nyxta, it is glamour. She is beautiful, resplendent, and she craves the attention it brings her. Such attention feeds her own magic, makes her powerful. Her words bring lovers to their knees and enemies their nightmares... and yet.

Within the confines of the Shrieking Wilds, she is lonely and despondent. It is only when she is approached by her dam that she knows what she must do.

"You cannot find what you are looking for within our weyr, dark daughter. You covet a companion so equal to you that it pains you to remain where they are not. Go. Travel the world, weave your words, suckle the attention from all who might look upon you until you find your beloved. Only then will your soul sing."
Nyxta did not expect to find darkness within a town that accepted her with such open arms, even though her mother had warned her that those residing in the Arcane territories were an odd lot.

A meteor storm nearly pummeled her into the ground and reduced her to a bloody pulp one night. Her wings had already been aching from flying all day, but the debris flung up and craters created by the meteor impacts convinced her not to try her luck on the ground.

nyxta sees foghorn and the association protecting Silverspun. (Water, plague, arcane, arcane shielding for the fighters to bounce off of) She decides to start for a while to recover after the meteors. Sophora is the darkness - they have a nest together, though both agree that the other is not what they're looking for. nyxta leaves and continues her search.
