Biography
Imagine a cool story inserted here about him being the leader of the Imparade. I'll get to it and tie it into his current lore.
Locked away on an ancient nest for 7 years, he slumbered. His parents, seemingly frozen in time, protected the small nest diligently. There, he and his siblings sat, waiting, growing ever so slowly in their eggs. When their mother and father set out from their home clan to find a safe site to nest, they quickly become lost. A safe site had been found, at the cost of becoming wholly disconnected from their clan. They could no longer afford to wander around in attempts to reconnect. Mother needed to rest, and fast.
The mother and father weren't able to safely leave their nest unprotected to sufficiently hunt or search for their clan. They would take turns incubating the nest while the other hunted and foraged, but it was difficult for one dragon to find and bring home enough food for the both of them without the help of a larger family. Their clan had never bothered to send out a search party for them, and later moved on to establish a different home entirely, abandoning the one the parents grew up in.
Becoming sickly and frustrated, they grew angry with their god, the Arcanist. How could he let them become so lost? Why had he not shown their clan the way? Why were they raised in a clan that cared so little, that showed no empathy? In their anger, they became unattuned to Arcane magic over time. As their ability to feed themselves worsened and their magic waned, they entered a comatose-like state protecting their nest.
Despite their lack of faith and strength, however, the Arcanist would not let an innocent nest of hatchlings perish. They were innocent, and shouldn't perish as the result of their parents' wrongdoings.
So in seven years' time, when he felt the moment was right, the Arcanist blessed the nest and gave all of its eggs life. He awakened the parents too, rekindling their faith to allow them to nurture their children and prosper unhindered.
But in one of these eggs, the Arcanist had blessed one of the hatchlings with Primal Sight. In doing so, he opened up a world unseen to most dragons to this unborn dragon. In choosing to reveal the magics of old to the little one, he took it upon himself to raise the blessed child as his own. He hand-picked a familiar to befriend and protect his new son, then waited patiently.
At the peak height of the full moon, the egg cracked.
And thus, Zenith was born.
