Biography
With the sound of crunching branches and snapping vines breaking the oppressive silence of the deep forest, its gargantuan paw moves, making space by its arm (or what seems to be its arm) for you to sit. You can't see its face, only a glimpse of its jawline obscured heavily by the blanket of flora growing below, around, and on it. It could very easily pass as an abandoned hut, or simply a decorated rock if you didn't look close enough. Was it even breathing?
"You've passed harmlessly through these lands," Its voice is like crumbling boulders, shaking the very ground you stood on despite its gentle tone. "If you wish to rest here, I will protect you." Leaves, flowers, and sticks fall to the ground as it turns its head toward you, dark eyes peering out from under its leafy green hood. It hits you then that this dragon is very much alive, and had it not been for your peaceful behavior it could have easily stomped you into the forest floor.
"Who are you?" You're awestruck at how quiet your voice is compared to the dragon in front of you; it's as if its fused with the ground and forest around the two of you, its voice coming not only from its throat, but the endless green around it.
"You may call me Onodrim. With the favor granted upon me, I protect this forest," With a turn of its head, its face is once again covered. "It is my charge, and it is me." It offers no further explanation, and with the fading of its tremendous voice, the humid silence of the wood returns.
