yeah i took rathma from diablo i dont even play diablo i just thought the name sounded cool
too lazy to format the bio right now BUT i got this general idea for him:
despite his looks, he is very much a pacifist. he will do everything he can to find a way out of violence. there is simply no need. unless you give him no choice. he even denounces eating other living beings, and avoids doing so as much as possible. the only exception is if he is out on a journey, low on food, he may resort to hunting. but not without paying respects to the life he has taken to sustain his own. this is what he prefers for himself, but he will not give others trouble for choosing to hunt, as long as they are doing it respectfully.
he seeks to mentor young hunters who are willing to learn his message, about the value of life. to show reverence to the beings that we consume. it is a great honor in a way, to choose another living entity to become a part of our own self. and it should be treated as such. do not forget the life they lived, the experiences they endured. because it is now a part of you. peer into them, and see your reflection as they take their final breath. when next you exhale, remember the new life that has joined yours, that breathes your breaths, because it can no longer do so itself.
growing up in a ravenous, war-like clan that gave no second thought to ending the life of another, he knows all too well the ways of warriors, barbarians and the like. trained to be an effective hunter, fighter, killing machine since hatching, he wishes to distance himself from that past. to wash away all that blood on his hands. sometimes it is hard for him to live with the crushing reality of what he had taken before he began to think for himself. how could he not see sooner? how wrong and senseless it is? he'll have to make peace with it someday. perhaps, bringing others peace is a good start. though most don't take him seriously, there are a few elder dragons that share a similar sentiment, struggling to bear the weight of their former misdeeds as well. he leads them out of their path of guilt as far as he has lead himself, but there is still a ways to go.
he'll admit, he hasn't exactly found peace for himself yet. these weathered, weary, long-traveled eyes still find it hard to unearth any meaningful repose in this world. though maybe that's not entirely the goal, perhaps he has done enough by opening the eyes of others to the tranquility of life, that which coincides with the eternal battle of our realm.
