about. kosey learned his history, and then his first language was revenge. oh, how much pain had befallen her mothers. oh, how much empathy was imbued upon this child, that she felt their pain so readily? to much to take up the blade like her forbearers, surely? no. kosey took to the runeblade, but not to chase the shade. to maim the thing that hurt his family. that is what sharpened his edge. so like sobek, he was, and she worried for him every day and every night while he practiced the swordfighting she taught him. oh, how they tried to convince her to stay. but she would not have it. and it is not easy to weasel your way into the bloodpits without a chain around your neck, but kosey does it. and she does it fast and hard, like she's done everything else in her life, and it is not without its consequences. his revenge is on the runners of the pits, those who keep dragons as pets. and while it does take him a while to get there, eventually he fights enough fights to battle another dragon instead of a beast or beastclan. she doesn't even raise her blade against the other dragon. she turns as soon as the gong sounds, and slaughters the dragons in the bleachers. and then he flees. he does this in a cycle, infiltrating pit after pit and killing those that run it, and while he works alone his actions have encouraged other dragons--those he faces in the ring for moments before turning on their captors, those who are not too far beaten and broken--to take up the cloak and dagger as well, already accustomed to the weight of shackles but with the knowledge that vengeance is possible. she has traveled far, outrunning the legacy she is leaving behind with those in contact of the rings she's torn apart.
