Dough

Not all who are made to exalt make it entirely to their place, some get taken before they are given as a sacrifice to keep off enemies, and sadly most don't realize that till they already lose the soon to be exalted.

Often Hatchlings can only watch as they get taken farther and farther from their birth clan within a grasp of a stranger, often hoping they won't be dropped.





Dough doesn't remember the feeling of being dragged away, only the feeling of wind on their small scales for a while while fluffy fur tickled against her tiny body.
She's pretty sure she was asleep for most of the trip if any.
The rest of the clan denies this from ever happening, but it feels wrong to be unaware- but it would be hard to wander off much...

so she waits, accepting the gifts they give to try and help her feel better...


Golden items are wonderful to any dragon but it's not enough to make her stop wondering what's outside of the ruins and the heavy stomps of the Emperor.


Dough won't ever know, they can only guess what their birth clan was like.


She has to move on from that. It's a must.
