Flight:
General:
Kaala is the clan's gatherer. She spends most of her time gathering and travelling. Since the homelands soil is frozen most of the year, not much grows around here. Winter can last up to 6 months and the summer season lasts only for few. Therefore she and other gatherers must travel a long distance to find anything good growing. However some of the food can be found near; tough species like Winterbelle, a flower, survives in the frost, and it tastes rather sweet.
Kaala can fly without stopping for 3 days and nights, making her the clan's strongest flyer. Her wings are made for long-distance flying and her claws are the perfect size for picking up small goods. After travelling she'll search for all kind of edible; plants, mushrooms, grains, seeds, berries and insects. Carrying everything back home is the hardest part of the journey, it takes a lot of strength and wing-pairs.
She's pretty passionate about her job, she feels free, while flying far away, and important, bringing the essentials back home to many dragons. Her work also relaxes her. Collecting raspberries into a huge basket, while letting the mind sail off, it does bring a slight smile upon her face.
Kaala likes to be on her own. Socializing has never come naturally for her. She has only few friends she likes to spend time with, and when meeting anybody new she comes off a bit shy. Kaala and Gaia are good friends. They're both gatherers, and they like working together. They fly close to each other when travelling, telling stories to each other. Kaala being a bit olden than Gaia, she sees her as her little sister.
On her free time Kaala likes to try out new recipes, cooking and baking in the heat of a kitchen. She especially likes oatcakes. She often bakes her regular oatcakes, adding in insects or rare fruits, experimenting what might make 'em cakes even more delicious.

Familiar: Connor Connor is a tiny Mith that follows Kaala everywhere, helping her with gathering food. Connor is quite a good flyer but no match to Kaala, when leaving behind Kaala gladly let's her little friend ride on her back. |
