I N T R O D U C T I O N

You arrive at what looks like a... training field? It is a huge circle, carved about two feet into the ground. The ground is made of a stone mosaic. You wonder what it is exactly. "I see your confusion." A female voice chuckles. "Hi. I'm Adhira." She adds while continuing to sharpen a scythe like it is a spreader. The colourful pearls dangling down the sharp edges don't make the weapon look any less intimidating. Before long, the Pearlcatcher who itroduced herself as Adhira, puts her tools away and rests the scythe on a weapon rack. She grins as she turns to look at you. "You're not scared, are you? You don't seem to be the type to be easily shaken up." With a light chuckle, she shakes her head. "I'm sorry, just messing with you. Are you a visitor? This is one of the training grounds for the adept mages. It is rarely used for claw on claw combat. If you jump out of bounds, you lose."

She points towards a cliff off in the distance. "That over there is one of our clan territory borders. I am guarding this part of the grounds. Akio and Daedalus should be around here somewhere too. All guards of Caelestis Viridis work together with one or preferably two partners." You have a nice talk with Adhira. She is very chipper for a guard and has a lot of energy. Eventually you leave and continue your tour through the lair.

Together with Katida, they build and inseparable friend group. They are bonded like three sisters and very much rely on and trust each other.

Her beloved firstborn. Adhira loves her daughter dearly and would do anything for her. As a mother, she is always ready to answer her daughter's question and give advice.

Daedalus - Friend
Danny is a friend and also a guard she closely works with. They are both dedicated to keeping everyone save, but being able to crack a good joke is part of work to them.

Akio - Mate
They crashed and burned more than once. Many times over they met and parted ways again, but fate always brought them back together, until they finally accepted it.

Better don't get close to her at all... Let's say it's difficult. Adhira loves her, despite having scars on her right arm from their first encounter. Felicula hates tight spaces and doesn't like to spend time inside the lair. Being outside, preferably sunbathing, is her way of living. Over the years she has mellowed quite a bit and thanks to Icarus' training, she doesn't bite any clan members or other familiars anymore. Towards people she truly likes, Felicula does show affection. Not that she would ever admit it if she could, but she is a snuggly sleeper and loves to sleep with Adhira's tail between her front feet and her head propped up on it.

Adhira is an open book. You can ask her anything and she will answer you. Shyness is a foreign concept to her. This can lead to misunderstandings when dealing with introverted personalities. She will try to improve herself at every opportunity. Giving up is Adhira's biggest failure and she hates to leave things unfinished. She sets high standards for herself, but is forgiving and understanding when it comes to others. This applies to hatchlings as well as adults. There have been suggestions from others that she might be a good teacher, but that's not her thing.
She learned to be independent from an early age and has remained so to this day. Her resilience stems from feeling inferior as a hatchling. For a long time, she felt like she wasn't enough. However, these feelings are a thing of the past. Now that she is an adult, she has recognized her worth.

As a hatchling, Adhira spent a lot of time alone and unsupervised. As a result, she has learned to keep herself occupied in almost any situation. Ideas come to her easily, and when she's in a pinch, she tries to build something herself. Even though she was lonely in her youth, Adhira has never given up hope and belief in the good.
She is tough though, shaped by years of working as a mercenary and enduring emotional and physical pain. There is a chapter in her life in which faith in the good was no longer her path. Bitterness had sunk into her heart. Those memories and the feeling of hopelessness have been locked away since she left the mercenary life, and she prefers never to revisit them.

She knows what she wants, but Adhira doesn't persist when someone has a better idea or a better solution. She isn't stubborn either. Quick and effective solutions please her and the less she has to worry about, the better. In general, Adhira is an uncomplicated personality and easy to get along with. Some dragons don't like her tendency to be nosy.
Adhira has a great sense of humor and loves to joke around with her friends. Although her job requires her to be constantly on guard, she is grateful for every minute she can spend with her friends. To relax, Adhira has started carving wooden toys.

"What is it that you are craving?" He asks, a silent growl accompanying his cold tone. "I want to make my own decisions." The reply is short. She almost wants to quip, but he isn't fond of jokes. His huff is dismissive, but she knows he got the message. "Go." It's almost like she didn't hear it, but he said it. "Just like that?" Her voice is full of disbelief. "Just like that. I can tell you've had enough. You'll go with or without my approval. I'd rather you go without holding a grudge against me." Is that... sadness? She feels like there is an edge to his usually monotone voice. "I don't hate you. I never did." The urge for her to reassure him grows by the minute. "Debby..." He sighs deeply. "Don't make this harder than it needs to be." His voice is unsteady. She never heard him talk so sincerely. "Fine... I'll remember this conversation. I won't forget what you did for me." Suddenly, she feels conflicted. But maybe that's what he wants... She knows he doesn't want her to leave. He captures her gaze. They just look at each other for what feels like ages. With a heavy heart she is first to break away from the moment and turns around. Over her shoulder, she offers him a sad nod, which he returns, and takes flight. A flight towards the unknown.

Adhira's life was shaped by the unknown. As a hatchling she felt unloved and lonely. It is a feeling she doesn't remember too well. WIP
