Spike, a self-proclaimed "Healer of the Sick, Dying, and the Already Dead", he is what you call a quack, or a whack-job, or anything other than a certified medical professional. If one is sick or injured, it's heavily advised NOT to seek Spike's care. It would be far better to "walk it off" than to put your trust into a dragon who's never heard of lidocaine.

Born into a Shadow-based Coatl family of Ice and Plague heritage, Spike was no stranger the dark and macabre. Having been ostracized and eventually exiled by his peers due to his dark coloration, Spike sought refuge in the deep, dark corners of Foxfire Bramble. There, he began tinkering and experimenting with the local flora and fauna, and even trespassing into Earth and Plague territory to obtain reagents. It wasn't until he discovered the dark art of necromancy did Spike's life turn around... for better or worse.

Spike claims he can reanimate the dead. How much, though, is unknown. No one trusts him with their deceased loved ones remains. Common (justified) fears include zombification, not seeing a loved one in their former glory, or possibly Spike creating another Emperor, or Glademother forbid another breed of Emperor. Spike of course claims such will never happen, zombies don't exist, and that he's successfully brought another dragon back, oblivious to the fact that said dragon is nothing but bones loosely held together by wraps and magic. Still, Spike is hopeful that more dragons will become more accepting of necromancy.

Spike is downright obsessed with the Shadowbinder. More so than a typical Shadow dragon. It's not known if he was always like this, or if one day he became spontaneously fixated on her. He dreams of one day serving directly under her, preferably in the medical field. Among his "equipment" and towers of encyclopedias are many effigies of the Shadow deity, all handmade.
