  • Ash is relatively more restrained, mostly sticking to the "Ash the type of tree/Ash the result of something being burned" meanings.
  • Leaf, on the other hand, will spin out as many meanings as he can find simmilar sounding words, rhymes, and etymological connections to semi-reasonably support (such as "peel off, strip or break", "poison/magic", or even "skull") and will gleefully swap between meanings when ever he feels like it.
