“Drink the waters meant to drown you."

Deep cobalt waves lap gently against the crystalline coast of the Starfall Isle. Far within the Starwood Strand, a single hatchling would feel their pulsing call, entranced by the rhythmic crashing.

Aquarii had always felt a connection to the water. The fluid crystal that quenched the thirst of life, and drew breath from the unworthy. It was a mystical, dangerous, dynamic and wonderful muse that inspired many of the young mage’s unusual spells.

That was, until she created something that could never be undone.

Upon a sheet of water, still as death and bright as life, with no ripples to distort its truthful reflection - Aquarii Saw. Saw everything, future, past, and present. She saw her hatching, her growth, her loves, her losses… her fate.

But she could not stop Seeing. A glance into the mirrored pool would consume her mind. Every possible timeline, every terrible ending, every glorious victory. Everything ahead, and everything forgotten, were laid before the Skydancer. A glimpse into time itself.

Now she carries the burden of Seeing everything within that motionless water. Yet instead of being broken by the dangerous, prophetic knowledge she carries, Aquarii chooses to float upon its current, rather than be swallowed into the depths.
