Shimmer was born deep in the Shrieking Wilds of the Viridian Labyrinth, where shining flowers bloom constantly with vibrant colors, and all of nature’s treasures leave themselves out in the open, for dragons to take or destroy as they wish. This constant waxing and waning of valuable life became deeply ingrained in Shimmer’s mind, despite the fact that she emigrated early from her leafy birthplace. Shimmer’s forest green eyes can see the value in any object instantly: whether it is an item to be stored or thrown away; cherished or hated. When her early travels took her to the Zephyr Steppes, she soon found the clan, and immediately saw the value that lay hidden in the bright red feathers of Tomato. He was an absolute dork, but his heart of gold won over her beating heart, and so the two fell in love where the winds blow life in a thousand different directions. She taught him how to see the value in objects, and he taught her how to stand up tall and be intimidating. Together, they make a formidable duo, keeping watch over the shinies and riches of the clan. Her crystalline hide matches perfectly the gems and treasure she counts daily. Her deep green eyes mirror Tomato’s bright wings. Her sleek white belly watches over the most valuable trinkets the clan possesses, and her outstretched pale wings offer up a sign to potential robbers that this sweet gentle lady has the ferocity of a guardian keeping watch over their charge.
