Tristan

A spirit, resting under the boughs of Bard's tree. He wanders slowly around the trunk, listlessly and ignores all calls to him.
The rumor is that he was a gaoler that chose to become a Tree-Bound. His tree was burned down in an accident, and though the tree's spirit has moved on, fragments his own spirit remain in perpetual mourning.

Many years later, his grandfather began living beneath Bard's branches. Perhaps it was merely twisted fate.
Tristan's spirit seemed soothed when he heard his grandfather's old stories. The docile dragon would stand still, head bowed as he listened.
A rumor began floating around the Clan that when the old dragon finally died, Tristan would probably be at enough peace that he would follow the old dragon's spirit.
