Nova is the dragon everyone goes to when they need help fixing something. Everything from setting up a sundial or repairing rabbit fencing, to calibrating Ghost’s rocket boots, falls to Nova. The silvery skydancer does not mind, in fact he loves his role as the clan handyman and technical wizard. Nothing pleases him more than seeing the happy faces of his clan mates when he solves a problem for them. Nova has a positive attitude and a great sense of humor, this helps him laugh off the frustrations that occasionally crop up in his line of work.
One day Flutter decided to tease him about his name. She explained that in the Fae dialect, the syllables of his name, No – Va, accompanied by a flip of the crest, meant “Does not work”. Nova had a good laugh about that, and decided to turn that into his slogan, “If it doesn’t work, call Nova!”
His mate Nebula doesn’t find it as funny as he does. She has her own nickname for the pair of them. “The Shining Stars”. In her humble opinion, they are the two most beautiful dragons in the lair. Being early adopters of not just technology, but also genes, Nova and Nebulae often display the latest discovered markings. Nebula helps her mate with the lair’s repairs when she is not caring for their hatchlings.
